Shipping & Returns

PARTS WARRANTY AND RETURN POLICY

  1. All returns are for credit only, no cash refunds given.  All returns must be done within 7 days of invoice date unless otherwise stated on the front of invoice.
  2. All items for return must be in their original packaging, unopened, and must be accompanied by the original receipt.
  3. The following items (but not limited to) cannot be returned unless defective in which case they will be replaced under manufacturer warranty.
    1. Processors, Memory (Ram), Main Boards, Video Cards, Sound Cards, I/O Cards, Printers, Ink and Toner Cartridges, Monitors, Software, Custom Desktop or laptop computers, Special Order Items.
  1. We reserve the right to charge a 20% restocking fee.
  2. All warranties are Manufacturer Warranty Only unless otherwise stated on the front of invoice.
  3. We will assist in servicing any manufacturer warranty for a $60 shipping and handling fee.
  4. Most used systems carry a 30 Day Warranty, however please check before purchase. Warranty on used systems is not transferable.
  5. We cannot be responsible for Data/software/ hardware loss due to any failures. We strongly recommend the use of a backup system, antivirus software, surge bar or a UPS System to protect your information.
  6. Any signs of physical damage will void all warranties.

NEW SYSTEM WARRANTY

  1. TOUCH hardware warranty is depot drop off only, no onsite warranty applies, unless otherwise stated on the invoice. DOA period is 7 days from the date of the Tek Solutions invoice.
    The system warranty covers the system unit with standard components such as power supply, CPU, RAM, optical drive(s), hard drive(s), network card, modem, sound card and video card.
    * Special-ordered internal components such as SCSI or RAID controllers, tape drives, special SCSI hard drives DVD-RAM drives and ALL external components including keyboard, mouse and speakers are covered under the original manufacturer's warranty, which may be longer or shorter in duration than the system warranty.
  2. New computer systems which include internal & external computer parts (unless otherwise stated):  1 or 3 year depot Warranty, Parts and Labor. No returns on new desktop systems.
  3. Monitors: as per Manufacturer Warranty ONLY
  4. Printers: as per Manufacturer direct Warranty,
  5. Software; direct as per Manufacturer, No Software returns
  6. Notebook Computers, Netbooks, Manufacturer Warranty Only
  7. Other products: Manufacturer warranty only.
  8. Warranty does not cover tampering or modification of any cables or hardware inside the computer.

NOTEBOOK COMPUTERS/PROJECTORS/MONITORS
All notebook computers carry a Manufactures warranty handled directly with the manufacturer/projectors are direct manufacturer warranty only.  Please call the manufacturer for Technical Support or Warranty issues.
USED SYSTEM AND USED PARTS WARRANTY
Used systems and used parts are not covered by any Warranty unless otherwise stated on the front of the invoice. Due to the nature of the items used laptop batteries, LCD panels (dead pixels) and power adapters are not covered under warranty.
EXTENDED WARRANTY PROGRAM
Extended warranty protection is available on new Desktop and Notebook computers up to 3 years. Please ask your sales representative for pricing and details.


PLEASE NOTE:
WARRANTY MAY BE VOID IF THE PURCHASER UPGRADES OR CHANGES INTERNAL COMPONENTS OF THE COMPUTER SYSTEM UNLESS DONE BY QUALIFIED PERSONEL. ALL WARRANTIES ARE TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY, AND ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE.
TEK SOLUTIONS IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST DATA DUE TO HARDWARE FAILURE. THE END USER SHOULD USE CAUTION AND ADHERE TO A BACK-UP SYSTEM.
